Around the world, “fact-checking” has become a “movement” in the past decade, and Hong Kong’s fact-checking organizations have also developed professionally. But what do fact-checking organizations check? How do citizens view the work of fact-checking? Can the results of fact-checking really change the misinformation and disinformation that create the wrong perception of citizens?
The speaker will share the results of a research project related to these issues in the past two years, and discuss how people can view “facts”.
